Don't forget to check out my blogfor the contest. Each week, I'll give away a different book and you never know when the author(s) may stop by to chat.
A bit of news: I’m blogging over on Everybody Needs A Little Romance on Tuesday’s. It’s a great group blog and we have giveaways each month, as well as surprises other times during the month. Check us out.
I live in Sunny Florida. Really, I do. You’d never know it though. The weather has been crazy cold. As in pull out the long winter coat you never get to wear cold.
I know, I shouldn’t complain. I’m not in snow up to or over my windows and I don’t have to shovel it just to have the snowplow come by and blow it right back on the driveway. That’s because I live in Florida.
Christmas day we were in shorts. Now, we’re freezing. This morning, Science Guy had to go to Lakeland and it was 21 degrees. We don’t have clothes for that kind of weather.
If I could stay home, it would be great. Curl up with my favorite book and a cup of coffee. Oh yeah. Nope, gotta go to the day job.
It was fun for the first two days. Wearing boots and gloves. Not that we don’t wear them down here, because we do. But it was cold enough to be more than a winter fashion statement. :)
Now I’m ready for the warmth of the sun to come back.
Okay, enough complaining about the weather, I’ll move on.
The writing is going. I was going to say very well, but realized my cp, LKap, just might look at this and correct me. Heehee. No, it’s going fine. Annie’s book is started and outlined and I know where it’s heading.
Took a little while to get her really talking since she didn’t want to open a box. She has to open it. Very important in the story line.
At any rate, she finally sat at the kitchen table and tore open the top of thing. That’s when I found out what was in it. I didn’t know until then and couldn’t proceed with the story until I did.
Funny thing about our characters, sometimes they won’t do something they need to do until they’re ready and we’re stuck waiting for them. Of course when I threatened to write Brooke’s book, Annie decided it was time to talk.
Hope everything is going well in your writing and the weather isn’t too bad where you are.
~Vicki
Annie's book is coming along now that she and Nick have decided to talk to me again.
Mallory, Trevor, Brooke, and Mack will still be around, but oh my Annie's world is dark, very dark.
I'm plotting a YA paranormal from a workshop I took with Angie Fox. Her workshop, "Crafting The Bones of Your Paranormal" is one every writer should take even if you're not writing paranormal. It as amazing. FMP is going to be a blast to write.
I'm blogging on a group blog, which is great. Check out the link above.
LKap is blogging on Thursday's at my blog. Ramblings with Laurie is a hoot.
Working with my CP's and Annie's book.
Sending out request for ATB.
